“Just What Is It That I Do?’”

I have often sat with this question.
Nothing I have ever seen, read or heard more aptly sums up what it is that I do or better answers others, who often put that question to me, more so than the text below. I have personalised much of the original text, which is written for the times of some 2,000 years ago, to fit with modern day language. However, the explanation it offers remains the same.

“Just What Is It That You Do?” they ask..

They expect what others have done, and I do not,
For my calling is to their soul,

and I shall not stray from its calling.

They come to learn of their immortality,
the true lessons of the soul,
Religion and conditioning has taught them what they are not:
has taken from them their power,
does not reflect to them the truth of their own divinity.
It is incredible that they believed this judgement to be true..

They yearn to understand their soul’s calling,
to listen to the code of destiny within them,
and they learn of me
and find their way to my door.

They came for this way to lift up their hearts
their souls, their bodies and their Spirits,
nurturing their essence
so they feel and know
their power and purpose again.

This Way Is An Initiation Into Being.

It will take many forms, this journey.
Fear has locked many into the prisons of their own minds,
and together we will free them.
Rather than fearing God or death or separation
they learn to honour themselves
and to know the purpose of their choice to be human.
They learn to face the fear of the void within them..

To Speak The Unspeakable

At first, as the void called them to its brink,
they would stumble and hold back in terror.
And then they choose to find themselves -
coming to the void
having the courage
to leap from the world of illusion and fear
and fly with wings unseen,
trusting the invisible..

To be with people in this way
is my greatest calling.
It is for me a gift,
the same as being Home,
a blessing from All That Is.

I share with them how to create aliveness
by balancing their male and female,
their human and divine,
their knowledge with substance.

They come to feel this unity
within themselves,
and to share this with another soul
who does not judge them.

The bond reaches through
the human veil of tears
transcending the body
and identity.
And they remember their origin
and their divinity.

And because this way is
the nearest thing to Home,
it feeds me continually with truth
in what can often be felt as an untrue world.
